Welcome to Eagle Rehabilitation at Clarkston!
We believe your search for skilled nursing services should focus on a facility that not only offers good care but also promotes life enrichment. The staff at Eagle Rehabilitation at Clarkston takes great pride that this is such a place.
To our residents and family members, we provide the comfort of knowing that the resident is well cared for in a secure and pleasant environment. Where they can live happily, and where they can achieve their highest level of independence.
Residents are encouraged to make decisions concerning their needs and their desires. At resident council meetings, they offer recommendations on the services that affect them.
Through planned activities and the interactions of daily life, there are many opportunities to make new friends. Residents become members of a community which supports them as they support each other.
Family members and residents are encouraged to participate in care planning. On an ongoing basis, they are kept well-informed about what's going on; in turn, we like to hear their ideas and comments. Whenever they have a question or a concern, they can easily reach us. Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime.
Eagle Rehabilitation at Clarkston is staffed by licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants who use state-of-the-art health care equipment and treatment programs to provide therapeutic care. Our professional staff has extensive experience in rehabilitation and geriatric care.
Our registered dietitians take pride in planning fresh, well-balanced meal according to individual nutritional needs and personal tastes. Residents are encouraged to meet with the dietitian either individually or as part of the food committee to offer menu suggestions. Family members are welcome to eat with the residents anytime.
Services
Residents in need of physical, occupational, or speech therapy have trained therapists working to develop a program tailored to their special needs. We design our therapy programs to accommodate every resident's individual abilities and tolerance levels.
Our Physical therapists use exercise, functional activities and specialized techniques to teach movement skills, balance, and self exercise programs. Additionally, the physical therapists work with residents to decrease pain, improve endurance, and learn safety techniques for injury prevention.
Our occupational therapists teach independence on living skills such as dressing, eating, personal hygiene, and homemaking skills. Additionally, the occupational therapists teach energy conservation, compensatory skills, use of adaptive equipment, and home transition skills.
Our speech pathologists work with residents to improve speech, language, memory, communication and swallowing skills. They also assist with training on alternative communication skills when speech is no longer possible.
Restorative care focuses on retraining in the activities of daily living. Our staff takes a team approach in re-teaching these skills to maximize independence.
