Welcome to Burton Care Center!
Burton Care Center has been serving the residents of Skagit County for over sixty years.
We are a caring community composed of licensed nurses, certified nurse aides, therapist's residents and family members. We work together to plan, provide and evaluate individualized resident-centered care.
We specialize in four types of admissions:
Short Stay – Typically less than 21 days with intensive rehabilitation 5 – 6 days per week, as well as intensive nursing therapies.
Respite Stay – Providing time off for at home caregivers, to take a break, while we provide care 24/7 in the facility.
Hospice / Comfort Care - Support, care and caring for the terminally ill and their family members.
Long Term Residential Placement – For those requiring licensed nursing care, over a long period of time.
There are planned activities daily. We start the morning with therapeutic Range of Motion exercises. Bingo, cooking classes and musical presentations are enjoyed by all. We also participate in community activities, such as the Berry Dairy Days Parade; drives through the Tulip Fields in the spring and seasonal trips throughout the Skagit Valley. Our staff also participates by donating their time to Meals on Wheels, delivering food to seniors unable to leave their homes.
