2009 Skilled Nursing Facility On March 23rd through March 25th, he Nursing Home was inspected by four Registered Nurses (State Surveyor’s) who spent countless hours reviewing our care systems & documentation. On March 24th, they were joined by a State Fire Marshall who completed the life safety component on the survey process. The Fire Marshall found no life safety violations. The surveyors found minor areas that needed some systems improvement. Their findings are posted by the nurses station and you are welcome to review our Plan of Correction. Grandview Health Care & Specialty Center has had over four years of exceptional survey compliance. That is why Medicare has rated us a FIVE STAR Facility. You can view our rating at Nursing Home Compare. We are pleased with the survey results and welcome your comments in our quest for improving our care standards and performance. Please Join Us in Praise of Our Staff! |

Welcome Summer! The Residents of Grandview Center are welcoming summer, along with the fun and activities that goes with the warm season! We kicked off spring with a traditional “Cinco De Mayo” celebration. We had a great turn-out! The music was provided by the “Mariachi Guanajuato” and it was fantastic! They never disappoint us. The food was wonderful, and of course, and we couldn’t have pulled it off without our kitchen’s hard work and all the staff and volunteers that pitched in, THANK YOU! Next we had National Nursing Home Week that was filled with silly dress-up days and special treats throughout the week. We had Waldo the Clown helped us celebrate the special week. I want to especially thank the staff that pitched in, dressed up and made it a truly special week for our residents. The T-Ball game will be June, 2009 6 p.m. Upcoming events include a 4th of July BBQ on June 29th at 11 AM. Waldo the Clown Will be on hand for that day! Everyone is invited, so bring the family and enjoy the day. There will be fire works! We will have a BBQ on the 20th of July and one in August.
