Residents are encouraged to make decisions concerning their needs and their desires. At resident council meetings, they offer recommendations on the services that affect them.

Through planned activities and the interactions of daily life, there are many opportunities to make new friends. Residents become members of a community which supports them as they support each other.

Family members and residents are encouraged to participate in care planning. On an ongoing basis, they are kept well-informed about what’s going on; in turn, we like to hear their ideas and comments.
